Leinster tends to be dominated by Dublin, but just outside the capital, within easy commuting distance (if you have a car, that is), are many of the best sights in Ireland. Top attractions in Leinster for me would be the ancient monastic complex in Glendalough, the Hill of Tara and, first and foremost, the magnificent prehistoric tumuli of Bru na Boinne – Dowth, Knowth and Newgrange.
