CNN is reporting that a bar in Cancun was firebombed early this morning, resulting in the deaths of eight people. The Castillo del Mar bar was located outside the city’s hotel zone and was patronized mainly by locals, not tourists. The bar reportedly had been the target of extortion attempts by members of the Zetas drug cartel.
