
Good news just in that chef/owner James Mackenzie of The Pipe and Glass Inn, near Beverley in East Yorkshire, has received a much deserved and overdue Michelin star, the food world’s equivalent of the Queen’s New Year’s Honors List.
I adored the place, loved the food, and think you should book your delightful, romantic and delicious Valentine’s Day lunch there pronto.
Yorkshire-based Elaine Lemm, About.com’s guide to British and Irish Food thinks it’s the best restaurant in Yorkshire.
